I do not know, rules for some and rules for others I guess.

Rule was made that if you hold a SR round you could not hold an open, maybe we should show our vote on the matter with our feet and not doing it. Only thing is that this will hurt the club and not those that made the rule, maybe the other clubs should just go ahead and run opens anyway now that they have done this the door is open in my book.

Would like to know the reasoning behind it, I am sure for the many not doing the Aussies or Worlds would do an open much earlier in the year. 

How does castle hill get an open when there got a regional

Bit hard to get your cards signed off when the only 2 opens in the SR are after the cut off date

To qualify for the 2009 NSW Championships you must compete at 3 of the 4 SR Series rounds + 1 SR Open event (listed above - not including the Galah Day) + 6 Club races. These must be signed off on the SR Cards (when issued) and submitted to the Club Secretary by no later than Saturday the 1st of August 2009. Please support your Club Secretary and ensure you do not lose these cards and have them signed off at each event and Club race to lessen his role. Many thanks.

FloridaBMX.com has a new video gallery.

Hey all you florida bmx racers, I wanted to let you all know that I have created a new video gallery for all of the Florida BMX videos. With this new gallery you can easily get the embed code so you can put your favorite video on any website that allows HTML. The video to the left here is an example of how the embedded video will show up on your pages.

I am also working on setting it up so the videos can be downloaded to your computer, if there is a big enough demand for that I will make it happen so let me know.

I have all of the mains from Miami and St Pete up there now. All of the videos that were previously on the website from 2006, 2007, 2008 will not be re-posted. If anyone wants a particular video from those past races you can email me at rich@bmxvideo.net, and for a small fee I might be able to dig through my archives and get you those videos maybe even on DVD.

Northern Rivers BMX 2009 series starts this weekend

This coming Sunday the 15th of March is round 1 of the 2009 Northern Rivers BMX series, to be held at the Shepparton BMX track, Brauman St, Shepparton 419 J7.

All the usual classes will be run including the popular 14+ and Vet Pro classes.

For 2009 any rider that enters both 20” and cruiser age classes rides the cruiser class for free. This is a great chance for riders looking to get in some racing on their cruisers prior to the Aussies and Worlds
