It is all a numbers game. Good that we will be able to go down next year. I heard that it was going to be closed next year, but I didn't believe the person telling me. I say keep ours closed Griffo as that pisses them off more  Grin Grin Grin

I think all state titles should be open. I know some say no to this but it was like that in the day and the events were big and this gave the states a real wow factor, more numbers mean more sponsor dollars, more spectators and more of a chance to see the sport hit the news more often. Bigger numbers draws the media all the time giving us more air time and in turn making it easier to get sponsors.

But then the states would miss out on entry money from regionals   Shocked

I'm getting nervous, oh hang on, no it was just gas. Looked at some photos today and the track looks pretty good.

Got a message from one of the boys down there. He said that the track is fairly tame and the big triple step actually slows you down heaps. He reckons the only jump that is a bit funny is the last double going into the last turn. The second part of it is very peaky and there is no back. Thanks for the headsup!
Should be a great deal of fun indeed.

So where is everyone staying? I know that the Griffo's and us are at the Border Van Park just around the corner from the track (has a nice looking pool and BBQ area).

Thinking that if we are all close we could all get together on the Friday night.

Yes a bit confusing Huh?

OzBMXcentral

The OzBMXcentral site was open to the public on the 6th January 2008 and is new school focused. OzBMXcentral is a registered business and we plan to open a BMX focused shop in the future and take a pro shop to events as well as sponsor more riders, grass routes programmes, clubs, BMX events etc..... as we grow. Once this happens our active members will get BIG discounts on BMX gear and be involved in our giveaways.
At the time this site was being built we could not find OZBMX anywhere on the net.

OZBMX.COM.AU

From what we can find was open on the 31st July 2008 and is old school focused.

Both sites are great and we have no real issues with OZBMX.COM.AU being about and have posted a link to them under the links section. Both site fill the gap left by others and both site can only help BMX in Australia. If all the Australian based sites worked together we could really make this sport rock.  Afro

I have also found today that someone is working on ozbmx.com, if you go to the site you get a logo and message saying sorry we are not up yet.
This one could be an issue to both OZBMX.COM.AU and OzBMXcentral but.

It is going to Moorwell. I don't know the distances so Adrian will let me know if that would be good for him. Thanks

Phil, if you can not get anyone Barnett's transport has a depot at Albury. If it is boxed up I have an account with them and should only cost about $25 or less to get it delivered to his door if Moorwell is in the Melbourne area.

Thanks for that Wally. Looks like Chris's brother will be able to take it, but at least there is a backup if Chris's brother can't make it for some reason.

Cheers

So is the track flat? Looks like it in the photo's.

What gearing are people thinking of running?
