NSW Southern Region Zones - ACT round

This will run this weekend May 3rd & 4th. Both tracks are looking great so a top weekend of racing is ahead.


Clarification for all the questions that will arise about Canberra ...

(We sent this information to Club reps a while ago but communication doesn't seem to work in this sport)

Qualification to State Titles – you need to do 3 rounds (plus your 6 clubbies or opens) … Canberra weekend counts for one qualification to State (one day, both days, either day – whatever you ride it’s one qualification)

Qualification for Regional Championship … do as many rounds as you like, but ALL 5 ROUNDS (3 in Sydney and 2 in Canberra) count towards SR points. Person with the most points at end of the series wins. Yes folks … Canberra weekend is 2 rounds as far as Southern Region points are concerned (that’s the last time I trust SR delegates with proof-reading duties).

Doctors certificates etc will help you with State Qualification, but they don’t mean anything as far as SR points are concerned.

What will first place be worth in each class? – win the series and find out.

Every club delegate is to make sure they have a copy of the entry form with them so the bush lawyers can argue all day (somewhere other than near me).

Canberra will be just like every other year … 1 A and 1 B Relay (spread over weekend)
